A Surefire Recipe for Successful Manifestation of Your Wishes and Desires

This is another installment of articles written in the series Creation and Manifestation. In this article, I discuss what helps you to make your wishes and dreams come alive. You may be wondering why I am advocating manifestation of desires, as opposed to dropping all of them on your way to enlightenment which is the traditional view. That is a topic by itself to be covered in a separate article. For now, trust me that it is better to manifest your desires and experience the results to bring wisdom into your life to create an Expanded Sense of Self (ESS), than trying to drop them which may cause more inner conflict.
If you follow the tips given below, I am sure that you will manifest any desire you want.

• Use the model of creation effectively
• Is it a genuine desire?
• Dream, all the time
• Have no doubt or opposing thought
• Use the opportunities presented
• When in conflict, work on one desire at a time
• Indulge in practices that move you into light

Let’s now discuss each topic in detail.

Use the model of creation effectively

In my article, Self-Mastery and Enlightenment Demystified, I discussed a model of creation in much depth. In that article I made clear that all of this material creation is a condensation of pure thought vibration from the Om-field. In this realm of pure thought, there is no right or wrong, good or bad. Everything is just as it is. I also mentioned that our brain works as an antenna which picks up or attracts thoughts from the Om-field, amplifies and/or modifies these thoughts when we use them, and releases them back into the thought stream. This means that during our unconscious day-to-day living, our brain picks up thoughts we are habituated to, manifesting the same old thing. Therefore, if you really want to change your life for the better (you will be the judge of what “better” means to you and it is no one else’s business), you need to change the way you think. In essence, you change the focus of your thinking to what you want, rather than dwelling on what you don’t want. Once you “create a thought” about what you want, infuse it with divine light by “visualizing” that thought into manifestation.

Is it a genuine desire?

Once you understand that all creation emanates from pure concentrated thought, you need to decide, if the desire you have is genuine to you. This means that you need to make sure that the desire you have is genuinely yours and not someone else’s. We know that consciously or unconsciously we sometimes make decisions in our lives to make a parent, spouse, friend, sibling, offspring or someone else happy, even if that comes at a cost to our own happiness. If the desire is someone else’s creation in you, then you will have tough time manifesting it. This is because you will have constant conflict within you (unless you have already achieved self-mastery, in which case, you don’t need to be reading this article), which disperses the energy of the concentrated thought required for manifesting the desire. So, make sure that desire is genuinely yours.
How will you make sure that it is your genuine desire? By feeling it in your body. Not by mental analysis or weighing pros and cons and cost-benefit analysis, but by feeling it in your body. It is what we call, “gut-feeling.” Here is a process that you can follow to decide, if you really want to manifest a particular desire:

1. Sit in a quiet place.
2. Take a few deep breaths.
3. Perform the nEti, nEti technique for a few minutes.
4. Now, visualize your desire as if it has already manifested and you are enjoying the fruits of it. As you may know, visualization is imagination with feeling. So, to give a trivial example, if your desire is to eat a ripe, juicy mango fruit, then you not only imagine (picturize) yourself eating the mango fruit, but also visualize the color of the mango fruit, feel its texture, and taste the juices—you involve all your five senses.
5. Now, during the visualization observe your body. Are you really able to get all these feelings and does your body feel the joy of it all? If you get no response from the body, it may be that you don’t have a genuine desire for it at this point. You may have a desire for it later in life. If your body cringes, you get negative feelings, or a conflict arises in you, then that desire is not genuine for you at this time. It is possible that there is an underlying cause for the negativity for the desire or may be this desire is conflicting with another desire that you are yet to uncover.

Dream, all the time

Once you know what desire you want to manifest, then create a movie for you to visualize. You could use the same technique as above. You use sights, sounds, smells, touch—involve all senses—in your visualizations. Your visualization is in the present tense. That is, desire has already manifested and you are enjoying it now. Every time you visualize your movie, have the same scenes repeat. Do not change them. You need to infuse the scenes with energy of your consciousness. If you keep changing the scenes, the energy gets scattered. This may delay the results giving rise to questions and doubts in your mind. Remember that wherever the thought goes, energy (Sakti) flows there. The more passionately your dream, the more quickly you manifest your desire. It is all in the intensity with which you desire.
See cautions listed at the end of the article to include what you can and cannot include in your visualizations.
As a general principle, you perform your visualizations or meditations, at least twice a day—once in the morning and once in the night before going to bed. However, most importantly, you should perform your meditation in the night, while you are in bed, ready to go to sleep. Slip off into sleep while doing your visualizations. Why? You have access to your subconscious mind during the junction between wakefulness and sleep, and the visualizations will continue by themselves (even if you are not aware of them) in sleep. In sleep we reprogram ourselves to be who we are in the wakeful state. In deep dreamless sleep, our ego (we, as we know ourselves) does not exist and in dreams it can take on any identity, but upon waking we remember ourselves. This is because the subconscious reprogramming of our identity continues during sleep. If you perform your visualizations while dozing off to sleep, then there is a higher chance of you reprogramming your subconscious mind with “new you.” This new you then will attract the new situations that are suitable for that identity.
Secondly, if you can hold on to the visualizations throughout the day, that will speed up things. Of course, you should be alert around machinery, during driving, etc. So, use common sense. You can perform your visualizations while doing mundane things like washing dishes, taking a shower, and in the toilet that don’t need your full attention.

Have no doubt or opposing thought

Once you know that it is your genuine desire, then have no opposing thoughts or doubts about whether it will manifest or not. Sometimes our present level of awareness will bring in thoughts that will make us doubt ourselves. You need to be vigilent to let these thoughts pass and not energize them, or bring in thoughts that are opposite of those doubts.
This is usually easier, if you first work on relatively smaller desires that you can be confident about. For example, if your first manifestation experiment is a career change from working as a software engineer to becoming a medical doctor, then it may feel like a daunting task, creating too many doubts in you, because only knowledge you have is of your present conditions based on your past. However, if you start small for your first experiment or two, say, from being a software engineer, where you put in regular hours of 8-5 sitting in a cubicle a long commute away from home, to a software engineer with a higher pay and working from home, it may not be so daunting since your present conditions tell you that it is achievable because you don’t need to acquire any new skills. That has fewer variables to worry about than say becoming a medical doctor from a software engineer. After you manifest a couple of smaller desires, then you will have the confidence to go for seemingly impossible desires. Manifesting desires that you think are impossible is going to move you ahead, quickly, on your spiritual path.

Use the opportunities presented

When you start working on visualizations for manifesting your desires, several things start happening. To begin with, your perspective of the external world starts changing (you create your reality) because you are changing your inner world through your visualizations, and opportunities start showing up on your path which will lead you to your goal. If you are working on manifesting your dream job, a headhunter may contact you out of the blue, or a friend may give you some information about a job at his company has and so on. If you get opportunities in this way, do not ignore them. On the surface it may look like, they will not lead you to your goal, but they may lead to something else that may be beneficial on your path. Pursue those leads and see where they go. You need to perform action to take advantage of the opportunities. You put the seed and set things in motion through your visualizations and work on things with the knowledge that you have at the present time. But, remember that the breakthroughs come just when you think you hit a dead end. Most people give up at this point. This is when you completely surrender and trust the process and not give up your visualizations. When you surrender, the creative force, Sakti, takes over and moves things forward for you creating opportunities that you never thought existed.

When in conflict, work on one desire at a time

What if you have conflicting desires? Contemplate to find out if they are really in opposition to one another. If they are, you can decide which desire to work on first and drop the other conflicting desires for now. You could pick them up later on if you so desire. It may also turnout that the desire you worked on was not the one you wanted but one of the other conflicting ones. That is okay. Drop the current one and move on to the next one.
If your desires are not conflicting with one another, then you can work on more than one desire. If you are just beginning on the path to manifestation of desires, then I advise you to start with one desire. After you gain confidence in your visualizations and manifestation techniques, you can work on more than one desire at a time.

Caution

Please keep the following in mind regarding what you manifest. Not following these may have severe karmic effects, because you will break the Cosmic Law of Love, and interfere with experiences that others may have to go through, in their embodiments, on their way to their enlightenment and evolution.

• Do not visualize to hurt anybody, in anyway. For example, do not visualize that you took revenge on somebody that hurt you. You need to perform forgiveness meditation to break-free from that emotional bondage.
• Do not visualize to manifest a desire, if that deprives somebody of something. If you want to manifest money, make sure that your visualizations do not include somebody parting with their money.
• Similar to the above, if you are visualizing to manifest your desire of harmonious relationships with others, then you should only visualize that you are having harmonious interaction with someone, and should never visualize that they changed somehow to facilitate the harmonious interaction. We are multidimensional beings and we see only a particular dimension in others through the emotional filters we have in us. When harmonious relationships do indeed manifest, it may or may not be that the people involved actually changed, but it is more to do with our changed inner world that sees only the harmonious side of others when we interact with them.

Trees - Quotes for Gardeners

We'll dive into the earth together.   And if one day a wild flower
finds water and springs up from that piece of earth, its stem will
have two blooms for sure: one will be you, the other me.

Memories are forget-me-nots gathered along life's way,
pressed close to the human heart into a perennial bouquet.

We had lost all ordinary sense of time and place.  Those flowers that came new
to Lawrence, the fireflies at night and the glow-worms, the first beech leaves
spreading on the trees like a delicate veil overhead, and our feet buried in last
year's brown beech leaves, these were our time and our events.
When Lawrence first found a gentian, a big single blue one, I remember feeling
as if he had a strange communion with it, as if the gentian yielded up its blueness,
its very essence, to him.  Everything he met had the newness of a creation
just that moment come into being.

 Priapus, lively and naughty, aroused and outlandish, is the Duende de el Jardin.
Mother Nature is always pregnant.
Fruits, nuts, grains ... sex and food.    Flowers  ... sex and beauty.   
If it were not for the sex life of plants, we would have no sex life of our own.

 

So rests the sky against the earth.  The dark still tarn in the lap of the forest.
As a husband embraces his wife's body in faithful tenderness, so the bare
ground and trees are embraced by the still, high, light of the morning.  I feel
an ache of longing to share in this embrace, to be united and absorbed.  A
longing like carnal desire, but directed towards earth, water, sky, and returned
by the whispers of the trees, the fragrance of the soil, the caresses of the
wind, the embrace of water and light.  Content?   No, no, no -- but refreshed,
 

One can get lost in their garden and the rest of the world ceases
to exist, if only for a while.  Anger dissipates with every shovel of
dirt moved, pleasure is found in the simplest forms, excitement
is felt as each tiny plant matures and then triumph with the harvest
of the first tomato of the season. The love of gardening never
goes away.  Even if someone is unable to garden themselves,
they enjoy the gardens of others.
 

The hours I spend with you I look upon as sort of a
perfumed garden, a dim twilight, and a fountain singing
to it … you and you alone make me feel that I am alive.
Other men it is said have seen angels, but I have
seen thee and thou art enough.

Grow along with me,

Gardening is a cooperative affair.   I am a
part of a neighborhood in which plants, dirt,
rocks and a human family participate collectively
in a love affair with place.

through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes
always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.

I didn't know what narcissism was
until I beheld my own naricssus.

We are told that in Persia the tulip, whose blossom in its native
country is scarlet, while the centre of its glowing cup is black,
is used to express warm affection; and, when sent by a lover,
will convey to the object of his attachment the idea that like
this flower, his face is warm and his heart is consumed as a coal.

Danger and delight grow on one stalk.

The rose speaks of love silently,
in a language known only to the heart.

The pleasure of a garden are everyday renewed.  A garden is the
only complete delight the world affords, even complying with our
various and mutable minds.

After all these years I see that I was mistaken about Eve
in the beginning; it is better to live outside the Garden
with her than inside it without her.

                        This morning, in the Garden of Delight, love came gently on us.
                        Its sweet melody whispered in the trees, shivering the leaves.
                        Its fragrance wafted through the tapestry of flowers
                        And flicked the ears of the massive hounds,
                        While the white unicorn stepped daintily under fruit trees.
                                                             

Life and love are life and love, a bunch of violets is a bunch of violets,
and to drag in the idea of a point is to ruin everything.   Live and let
live, love and let love, flower and fade, and follow the natural curve
which flows on, pointless.
 

Another day it occurred to me that time as we know it doesn't
exist in a lawn, since grass never dies or is allowed to flower
and set seed.  Lawns are nature purged of sex or death. 
No wonder Americans like them so much.
