Retirement wishes

  • There is no point to count the years. They are not important. Important are the things you did, things we shall never forget. One day I’d like to be remembered like that.
  • Retirement does not mean stop talking to us. It means talking to us more often.
  • Do not think that retirement will help you to get rid of us. After all, we’ll follow you in some time.
  • We are very happy that you retire. Now you will have more time and pay more attention to us.
  • The retirement is not going to save you. Your problems will follow you no matter where you are. So will your friends.
  • I wish you the health your mum wants for you. I wish you the strength your wife wants for you. And when you come home late, I wish you the thing that your wife would think, not your mum.
  • Now you are going to have enough time to look at your Mona Lisa. I pray God for you not to pay much for that.
  • The last advice I want to give you is: do not run after a woman like after a train. Remember that there is another one coming. And after all, you can always catch a taxi!
  • Now at last you will have the chance to discover the beauty of the world, to do whatever you want and to be late whenever you want!
  • At last you will get rid of boring colleagues, annoying bosses and painful duties. The only thing we ask is: pray for us to have the same opportunity one day!
